About the Role

BlueGator is seeking a Lead Salesforce Nonprofit Consultant who can independently guide nonprofit Salesforce implementations from discovery through deployment. This hands-on delivery role combines project leadership, business analysis, backlog management, solution design, configuration, and client relationship management. The Lead Consultant is accountable for converting complex or ambiguous needs into client value through scalable solutions, while managing workstream scope, risks, dependencies, and delivery quality.

What You'll Do

• Lead larger implementation teams from initiation and discovery through build, testing, deployment, serving as the primary delivery lead and trusted client advisor.

• Provide sound, independent architectural guidance on best practices for scalability, interoperability, & security.

• Understand the full-stack architecture for client solutions, including CRM & nonprofit, data integration & hygiene, marketing, and analytics.

• Establish the delivery approach, discovery plan, project cadence, backlog strategy, and implementation priorities.

• Lead complex, cross-functional discovery and ensure requirements become clear, testable, appropriately sized user stories with acceptance criteria and proposed solutions.

• Own backlog refinement, scope and priority decisions, functional solution design, and cross-workstream impacts.

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions and remain meaningfully hands-on in complex, high-risk, or foundational configuration and Flow automation.

• Manage or oversee milestones, functional scope, estimates, budget awareness, risks, dependencies, decisions, and stakeholder communications.

• Coordinate consultants, developers, data specialists, and other resources while remaining accountable for overall delivery quality.

• Lead demonstrations, testing, defect resolution, training, deployment readiness, and difficult conversations involving tradeoffs, scope, risk, or platform limitations.

• Mentor team members and contribute to hiring, internal enablement, reusable offerings, practice standards, estimation, proposals, and strategic sales support.

What You Bring

• Typically 6+ years of progressively responsible Salesforce implementation experience, including extensive hands-on configuration work.

• Demonstrated experience independently leading end-to-end Salesforce implementations or complex cross-functional projects.

• Significant implementation experience with Agentforce Nonprofit and/or Nonprofit Success Pack.

• Advanced business analysis, discovery facilitation, user-story development, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement, and prioritization skills.

• Experience leading iterative or agile implementations using prioritized backlogs, sprint planning, demonstrations, testing, and incremental releases.

• Extensive Salesforce configuration and Flow experience, with the ability to design practical, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Experience managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, estimates, budget awareness, resources, and executive and working-level stakeholder communications.

• Strong consulting judgment and the ability to work with limited oversight, make sound decisions, and remain accountable for work completed by others.

Salesforce Certifications

Required: Platform Administrator, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant (NPC)

Preferred: Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) Consultant; Architect-level certifications; Data Cloud Consultant; Agentforce Specialist; Service Cloud Consultant; Platform App Builder; Business Analyst. Equivalent experience may be considered where appropriate.​
